Our team collaborates cross-functionally to design, develop, and maintain applications that meet both internal and external demands, ensuring we adhere to best engineering practices and design control processes.
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Solutions Developer who will be responsible for analyzing business needs, designing, and deploying effective ServiceNow solutions. This role is essential for optimizing our IT Service Management (ITSM) capabilities as well as various other modules on the ServiceNow platform.
Your Responsibilities Include:
Creating and integrating applications on the ServiceNow platform tailored to business needs. Executing integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems utilizing APIs and integration tools. Automating processes with Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, ServiceNow Studio, and Integration Hub. Conducting unit testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), while managing code movements to production. Overseeing software installations, configurations, and data loads. Documenting user guides, release notes, and knowledge base articles. Engaging with the platform community, staying informed about emerging technologies. Promoting best practices in ServiceNow and suggesting optimal out-of-the-box solutions. Coaching Citizen Developers on using App Engine Studio and low-code/no-code tools while adhering to governance policies. Identifying opportunities for process enhancement with a mindset geared toward continuous improvement. Troubleshooting systems, providing ongoing support, and implementing enhancements. Documenting technical specifications and development processes for future reference. Qualifications Required:
4-8 years of relevant experience preferred. BA, BS, or equivalent experience in a related field; advanced degree preferred. 4+ years of practical experience in developing enterprise solutions. ITIL v4, CSA, CSD, or CIS ServiceNow Certifications are a significant advantage. Familiarity with integration components such as SSO and LDAP. Proficiency in web technologies including AJAX, XML, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and Web Services (SOAP, REST). Experience with data-driven web applications and databases. Understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles. Knowledge of ITIL processes, specifically Incident, Change, Configuration, and Release Management. Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Perl, or Python. Experience with cloud infrastructures like GCP, AWS, or Azure. Hands-on experience with UI Builder for modern, responsive interface creation. Background in building and customizing Workspaces and Next Experience Workspaces. Familiarity with ServiceNow App Engine Studio and low-code/no-code development. Exposure to ServiceNow AI Control Tower is a plus. Expectations for the Role:
Utilize comprehensive knowledge and expertise to handle various tasks and projects efficiently. Contribute to policy and procedure development. Work on complex, large-scale projects that require innovative solutions. Independently complete responsibilities, receiving general guidance for new projects. Provide mentorship to junior team members. Anticipated hourly range: $94,900 - $135,600
