System Administrator - ServiceNow

We are looking for a skilled and experienced System Administrator - ServiceNow to manage, maintain, and evolve our enterprise ServiceNow (SN) platform. This role encompasses both operational support and platform development, including workflow automation, module administration, custom application support, and integration with external systems. The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem-solver with deep ServiceNow platform expertise and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administer and configure the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM, HRSD, and workflow modules.

2. Develop and maintain workflows, dashboards, reports, and custom applications.

3. Manage integrations with enterprise systems such as Active Directory, APIs, and DevOps platforms.

4. Perform platform upgrades with structured testing, validation, and certification processes.

5. Conduct root cause analysis and resolve system issues in production environments.

6. Maintain platform documentation and ensure compliance with security and governance standards.

7. Recommend enhancements and implement solutions to improve platform performance and usability.

Experience Requirements:

1. Minimum 7 years of overall IT experience.

2. At least 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow administration and development experience.

3. Minimum 3 years of experience configuring ITSM and/or HRSD modules.

4. Minimum 3 years of experience with ServiceNow integrations (APIs, Active Directory, DevOps tools).

5. At least 2 years of experience performing platform upgrades, testing, and release management.

6. Minimum 2 years of experience in root cause analysis and production issue resolution.

Work Authorization & Location:

1. Onsite - Washington, DC Metro Area (Suitland, MD).

2. U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (Permanent Resident) required.

3. Must be eligible to obtain federal background clearance, PIV badge, and access to sensitive government systems.
