Job Description ServiceNow Product Owner - Employee Center & Service Catalog Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite Daily) Employment Type: 12-Month Contract-to-Hire Industry: Financial Services / Banking Overview A leading financial services organization is seeking a ServiceNow Product Owner to drive the strategy, development, and optimization of the Employee Center and Service Catalog within the ServiceNow platform. This role will focus on enhancing the employee experience by delivering intuitive, efficient, and scalable self-service solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of ServiceNow platform expertise, product ownership experience, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for ServiceNow Employee Center and Service Catalog Partner with stakeholders across HR, IT, and business units to gather and prioritize requirements Translate business needs into user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria Drive the design and continuous improvement of self-service portals and catalog items Ensure a seamless and user-friendly employee experience across digital touchpoints Collaborate with development teams to deliver enhancements in an Agile environment Optimize catalog structure, taxonomy, and request fulfillment workflows Monitor platform performance, usage metrics, and user feedback to drive improvements Ensure alignment with governance, compliance, and security standards Support integrations with ITSM, HRSD, and other ServiceNow modules Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform Hands-on experience with: Employee Center (or Service Portal) Service Catalog design and management Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Ability to write clear user stories and manage product backlogs Strong stakeholder communication and relationship management skills Experience delivering user-centric digital experiences Preferred Qualifications ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, CIS-ITSM, HRSD) Experience with HR Service Delivery (HRSD) modules Familiarity with UX/UI best practices for self-service platforms Experience working in financial services or other regulated industries Knowledge of workflow automation and integrations within ServiceNow Experience with analytics/reporting tools within the platform What You'll Bring A strong product mindset with the ability to translate business needs into scalable solutions Focus on user experience and continuous improvement Ability to navigate complex organizations and influence stakeholders A proactive, solutions-driven approach in a fast-paced environment.
