Job Title: Senior ServiceNow Developer

Location: Raritan, New Jersey (Onsite/Hybrid)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise across multiple ServiceNow modules and a strong ability to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions across modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HRSD, and other platform capabilities

• Customize and configure workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and Service Portal components

• Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, and other integration technologies

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements

• Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and platform governance

• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and support system integration testing and user acceptance testing

• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability

• Participate in platform upgrades, patching, and release management activities

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in ServiceNow development and implementation

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting

• Extensive experience with core ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB

• Proven experience in building integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub

• Solid understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model, and platform capabilities

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)

• Experience with Flow Designer, Service Portal, and UI Builder

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure

• Experience with performance tuning and platform optimization
