ServiceNow IT Project Manager

Oversee complex programs that drive impactful mission outcomes for our customers as the ServiceNow IT Project Manager. Here, you'll see the bigger picture on mission initiatives and where your program management career can go at GDIT.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

The ServiceNow IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering ServiceNow platform projects that align with organizational goals. This role leads cross-functional teams to implement, enhance, and optimize ServiceNow solutions, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate combines strong project management expertise with a solid understanding of IT service management (ITSM) and the ServiceNow ecosystem. Other responsibilities include the need to: Lead end-to-end delivery of ServiceNow projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closureDefine project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholdersDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocationsCoordinate cross-functional teams including developers, administrators, business analysts, and external vendorsManage risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution and mitigationFacilitate Agile ceremonies or traditional project governance processes as appropriateEnsure alignment with ITIL best practices and organizational standardsTrack project performance using appropriate tools and techniques; provide regular status updates to stakeholdersManage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reportingSupport change management and user adoption initiativesEnsure quality assurance and compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

The Project/Task Manager must have: Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fieldCertification: PMPExperience: 5+ years of IT project management experience, with at least 2+ years managing ServiceNow projectsRequired skills: Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM,Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologiesProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skillsDesired Skills: Experience with USCENTCOM and familiarity with its missionKnowledge and familiarity with USCENTCOM's IT environmentServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent certificationExperience working in government or highly regulated environmentsFamiliarity with integration tools, APIs, and automation within the ServiceNow platformSecurity clearance level: TS w/SCI EligibilityUS citizenship required

The likely salary range for this position is $131,750 - $178,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
