Service Delivery Center – ServiceNow Developer – Senior

The opportunity
EY’s Service Delivery Center continues to expand its ServiceNow capabilities to meet growing demand across the firm and our clients. As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you’ll play a key role in shaping platform architecture, leading complex implementations, and influencing how ServiceNow is used at scale. You’ll work alongside technologists and consulting teams to deliver secure, high‑quality solutions while mentoring others and setting development standards.
Your Key Responsibilities
You’ll spend your time designing, building, and optimizing ServiceNow solutions that have real enterprise impact, including:
Designing and delivering ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules, such as IT Service Management, IT Operations Management, Asset Management, Strategic Portfolio Management, Integrated Risk Management, Security Operations, HR Service Delivery, and Customer Service ManagementDeveloping custom applications, workflows, business rules, client scripts, and integrations using JavaScript and GlideOwning platform architecture decisions to ensure scalability, performance, security, and alignment with ServiceNow best practicesDesigning and implementing integrations between ServiceNow and third‑party enterprise systems using REST and SOAPPartnering with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutionsActing as a ServiceNow subject matter expert by supporting complex issues, mentoring team members, and promoting platform standards
Skills And Attributes For Success
To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related fieldFive or more years of hands‑on ServiceNow development experience in large or complex enterprise environmentsStrong expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture and core development components, including business rules, client scripts, workflows, and UI policiesProven experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST and SOAP APIsExperience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environmentsStrong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Ideally, you’ll also have
Experience delivering ServiceNow solutions aligned to industry‑specific requirementsExposure to advanced ServiceNow modules such as ITOM, SPM, IRM, or Security OperationsExperience supporting AI‑enabled solutions or integrations, such as conversational or automation capabilities
ServiceNow certifications
The following certifications are required or strongly preferred for this role:
Required
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Strongly Preferred
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in one or more modules (for example, ITSM, ITOM, SPM, or IRM)
Nice to have
Additional ServiceNow mainline or advanced certifications

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $67,000 to $136,800. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $80,300 to $155,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
