- Audit and validate existing CMDB records (servers, storage, network devices, and applications.).
- Map dependencies between infrastructure components.
- Validate discovered data against CMDB records.
- Set up automated discovery for post-move validation.
- Ensure configuration items (CIs) reflect the new data center environment post-move. - Working knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB architecture, including CI classes, relationships, and data models
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Discovery (MID Server, probes, sensors, patterns)
- Understanding of IT infrastructure components: servers, storage, network devices, and application tiers
- Ability to perform data audits and reconcile discovered data against existing CMDB records
- Basic understanding of dependency mapping and infrastructure topology
- Familiarity with ITIL concepts related to Configuration Management
- 1–2 years of experience with ServiceNow CMDB administration or configuration
- Hands-on exposure to ServiceNow Discovery in a lab or production environment
- Experience conducting data validation or audit activities in an ITSM context
- Familiarity with data center infrastructure concepts (physical or virtual environments)
