Responsibilities
Facilitate SPM-focused workshops to understand client portfolio management processes, demand intake, resource planning, and project delivery frameworksDefine and communicate a clear SPM vision and roadmap, aligning ServiceNow SPM capabilities (Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management, Resource Management, Agile Development) with business strategy and outcomesOwn and manage the SPM product backlog, prioritizing features such as demand intake, project tracking, capacity planning, and financial managementCollaborate with stakeholders to identify dependencies across SPM modules (e.g., Demand 16 Project 16 Resource 16 Financials) and drive logical implementation sequencingAct as a strategic advisor to optimize portfolio visibility, investment planning, and resource utilization through SPM capabilitiesLead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews with a focus on iterative delivery of SPM solutionsAnalyze existing portfolio and project management processes to identify opportunities for improved governance, prioritization, and executionServe as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment on SPM strategy, configuration, and outcomesDrive stakeholder adoption of standardized demand, project, and resource management processesEnsure delivery of scalable solutions that support enterprise portfolio management, Agile delivery, and hybrid project environments
Required Qualifications
5137 years of ServiceNow experience, including ServiceNow Administrator CertificationHands-on experience implementing and supporting ServiceNow SPM modules (Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management, Resource Management, Agile Development)Experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst supporting SPM implementations and portfolio management transformations3135 years of client-facing experience in a consulting or advisory role, with strong stakeholder management skills3+ years working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe), preferably delivering ServiceNow or SPM solutionsStrong understanding of portfolio management, project delivery lifecycles, and resource planningProven experience with project governance, demand prioritization, and portfolio reportingExperience with financial tracking, budgeting, and forecasting within project or portfolio management toolsDemonstrated ability to perform business and technical requirements analysis, process mapping, and solution designStrong knowledge of ITIL/ITSM principles and how they align with enterprise portfolio management
Preferred Qualifications
ITIL Foundation CertificationServiceNow SPM-specific certifications (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist 13 SPM)Experience integrating ServiceNow SPM with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or other Agile/project management platformsFamiliarity with portfolio prioritization frameworks, capacity planning, and investment governance modelsKnowledge of financial management concepts such as CapEx/OpEx tracking and ROI analysisExperience with enterprise Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe) and their integration with portfolio managementUnderstanding of enterprise architecture or governance frameworks such as COBIT or Lean Portfolio Management

At RSM, an employee9s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $95,400 - $192,000
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
