Our client, a global tech organization, is hiring Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant to join the team in Virginia on a contract basis. The successful candidate will collaborate with customers to design, configure and implement tailored solutions on the ServiceNow platform, playing a pivotal role in delivering business value through the application of best practices across a range of ServiceNow products.
Responsibilities
Partner with clients to design and deliver effective solutions to business challenges using ServiceNow.
Define the scope, requirements and overall solution vision for assigned projects.
Adhere to and support established technical governance processes.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of ServiceNow architecture standards and best practices.
Participate in design workshops, as well as development, testing and deployment activities.
Take ownership of technical deliverables related to ServiceNow configurations and integrations.
Apply and advocate for ServiceNow best practices across all implementations.
Develop a strong understanding of client businesses and align solutions to their needs.
Drive continuous improvement of implementation methodologies and service offerings based on client feedback and experience.
Skillset
At least 2 years of experience delivering ServiceNow solutions across one or more modules.
Strong hands-on development expertise within the ServiceNow platform.
Expertise in ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, SAM, GRC, Security, CSM, HRSD and/or Portal.
Certifications such as ITIL v3 Foundation, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist and/or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer are desirable.
Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and provide thought leadership.
Experience in addressing governance, project management, business process and/or technical challenges.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
Degree in Information Technology, Engineering or similar is a bonus.
