Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Administrator with a strong background in Enterprise Identity Management (EIM) to join our IT Infrastructure team. This role will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and optimization of the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on identity lifecycle management, access governance, and integration with enterprise IAM systems.
Duties & Responsibilities
ServiceNow Administration
Administer, configure, and enhance the core ServiceNow modules including ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, ITAM, Employee Center and custom applications to support business needs Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, and automation solutions. Create and manage Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and Flow Designer workflows. Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems (e.g., Active Directory, Azure, SCCM, Office 365, Snowflake, etc.). Utilize REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, Integration Hub, and webhooks to connect ServiceNow with enterprise applications. Develop PowerShell scripts to automate IT tasks, system monitoring, and data synchronization with ServiceNow.
Identity Management
Design and implement identity lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, role changes) within ServiceNow. Integrate ServiceNow with IAM platforms (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, Ping, Saviynt, ZertID). Build and manage access request workflows, access certification campaigns, and entitlement reviews. Ensure compliance with identity governance policies and audit requirements. Partner with cybersecurity, HR, and compliance teams to align identity processes with organizational policies.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
3-5 years of experience administering ServiceNow in a large enterprise environment. 3+ years of experience implementing or managing identity management solutions within ServiceNow. Proven experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise applications via REST/SOAP APIs, LDAP, Active Directory, SSO/SAML and cloud identity providers. Proficiency in JavaScript, REST APIs, and ServiceNow scripting. Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and system administration. Strong understanding of IAM concepts: RBAC, ABAC, SSO, MFA, provisioning/deprovisioning. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues efficiently. Knowledge of ITIL framework and IT service management best practices
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; 2 years of education beyond high school in college or technical school 3-5 Years of Agile Delivery in a Matrixed Organizational Structure 3-5 Years of SDLC and CI, CD experience - Tools, Frameworks and best practices 3-5 Years MS Azure Environment Development experience 2-3 Years MS Azure DevOps operational (pipeline) experience 2-3 Years experience in Domain-specific framework development 3-5 Years of Data integrations and exchange frameworks (jSON, XML, EDI) [Domain] Specific Experience is Mandatory
Preferred Qualifications
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or HRSD-specific certifications Experience with ITIL processes and frameworks. Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and AI Chat Bots. Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell, JavaScript and SQL Knowledge of compliance standards such as SOX.
