ServiceNow Expert to Extract Entire Applications

ServiceNow Expert Needed — Build API to Extract Full Application Structure (JSON)

We’re looking for a senior ServiceNow developer to help build a Scripted REST API / extraction service that can programmatically export a full ServiceNow application into a structured JSON format.

What You’ll Do

Design and build a Scripted REST API in ServiceNow

Extract full application metadata, including:

Tables, fields, relationships

Catalog items, record producers, variables

Forms, lists, modules, Service Portal elements

Business rules, script includes, client scripts

Workflows / Flow Designer logic

Roles, ACLs, and permissions

Traverse dependencies to create a complete application view

Output a clean, structured JSON schema (not raw dumps)

What We’re Looking For

Deep experience with ServiceNow development (5+ years preferred)

Strong skills in:

Scripted REST APIs

GlideRecord / server-side scripting

JavaScript (advanced)

Understanding of ServiceNow data model + architecture

Experience working across:

Service Catalog

Platform scripting (BRs, Script Includes, etc.)

UI (Forms, Portal, UI Actions)

Nice to Have

Experience reverse-engineering or documenting ServiceNow apps

Experience with integrations or platform migrations

Ability to think structurally (not just code — how apps are composed)

A reusable extraction service that can take an application (or scope) and return a well-structured JSON representation of the entire app.
