Position Description & Qualifications

Serco North America is seeking an Entry-Level ServiceNow Developer to support the development, configuration, and enhancement of ServiceNow applications across mission-critical systems. This role is well-suited for a recent college graduate with a strong technical foundation and a desire to grow within enterprise platforms and IT Service Management (ITSM).

This position offers structured on-the-job training and mentorship, providing the opportunity to build hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform while supporting the delivery of reliable, high-quality IT services.

In This Role, You Will

Assist in the development and configuration of applications on the ServiceNow platform using App Engine StudioSupport implementation and customization of ITSM modules, including Incident, Change, and Request ManagementDevelop and maintain ServiceNow components such as:Forms and fieldsBusiness rulesClient scriptsUI policiesWorkflows and Flow Designer solutionsParticipate in requirements analysis, solution design, testing, and documentationCollaborate with senior developers, system administrators, and functional stakeholdersTroubleshoot issues and support platform enhancements and continuous improvementsFollow ServiceNow development best practices, security standards, and Serco development methodologiesMaintain documentation for developed solutions and configurations To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have

U.S. CitizenshipBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related disciplineStrong understanding of programming fundamentals and software development conceptsProficiency or coursework experience with JavaScriptBasic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web-based application conceptsFamiliarity with relational databases and data modeling conceptsFoundational understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) or IT operations principlesAbility to learn new tools and technologies quicklyStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

Academic, internship, or project experience with enterprise systems or SaaS platformsExposure to low-code or no-code development platformsFamiliarity with Agile or Scrum methodologiesExperience consuming or building REST APIs

Certification Requirements

The selected candidate must obtain the following ServiceNow certifications within six (6) months of hire:

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
