CMDB Architect

Role: ServiceNow CMDB Architect

Location: Charlotte, NC ((Hybrid 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week)

W2 COntract

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB Architect to lead the design, implementation, governance, and optimization of the ServiceNow CMDB platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in CMDB architecture, Discovery, Service Mapping, CSDM, data governance, and ITSM integrations. This role requires strong technical leadership and the ability to design scalable CMDB solutions that support enterprise IT operations and digital transformation initiatives.

Required Skills:

Strong expertise in ServiceNow CMDB Architecture

Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery

Experience implementing Service Mapping

Deep understanding of CSDM (Common Service Data Model)

Knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, and Asset Management modules

Experience with MID Servers and cloud discovery

Strong understanding of CI lifecycle and dependency mapping

Expertise in CMDB governance, reconciliation, and normalization

Experience integrating ServiceNow with monitoring and infrastructure tools

Scripting experience using JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow workflows

Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and integrations

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
