Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end architecture design for ServiceNow implementations, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements, translating business needs into scalable technical solutions. Develop comprehensive solution blueprints utilizing UML diagrams, system design patterns, and architecture frameworks. Integrate ServiceNow with various enterprise systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and other integration methods. Drive the adoption of cloud architecture principles by leveraging AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms for scalable deployment. Ensure compliance with security standards such as identity & access management and data protection protocols throughout solution designs. Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes for efficient delivery cycles. Provide technical leadership during SDLC phases—requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance—adhering to Agile methodologies. Evaluate emerging technologies such as NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra), microservices architectures, and DevOps practices to enhance solution capabilities. Document technical specifications clearly for development teams and facilitate knowledge transfer sessions to promote best practices.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on ServiceNow platform integrations and customizations. Strong understanding of cloud computing environments including AWS, Azure, or similar platforms; experience with cloud architecture design is essential. Extensive knowledge of software architecture principles including service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, design patterns, and system design methodologies. Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, C#, Java or Perl; experience with web development frameworks like Angular or React is highly desirable. Hands-on experience working with RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, JSON/XML data formats for system integrations. Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB or NoSQL options; ability to optimize data storage solutions. Experience working within SDLC frameworks using tools like Git, SVN, Jenkins for version control and CI/CD pipelines; knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes is a plus. Strong understanding of identity & access management protocols and security standards relevant to enterprise environments. Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical teams and business stakeholders. Relevant certifications such as ServiceNow Certified Application Developer/Architect or cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) are preferred. Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
