We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable ServiceNow solutions within a complex enterprise environment. This individual will serve as a senior technical expert and trusted advisor, driving platform best practices, improving operational efficiency, and partnering closely with business and IT stakeholders to deliver secure, sustainable solutions. This role will also provide technical mentorship and support to development teams while contributing to platform governance and long-term strategy.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, enhancement, and support of scalable ServiceNow solutions and workflows.Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and IT leadership to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Build and maintain integrations, automations, workflows, and custom applications within the ServiceNow platform.Drive adoption of platform best practices and out-of-the-box functionality to reduce complexity and improve sustainability.Serve as a senior technical expert and provide mentorship, guidance, and support to ServiceNow developers and technical teams.Influence architecture decisions, engineering standards, and platform governance strategies.Ensure solutions are secure, maintainable, optimized for performance, and aligned with enterprise governance standards.Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support operational coverage as needed.
Requirements
5–8+ years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform.Strong ServiceNow development experience including JavaScript, Glide, APIs, workflows, and integrations.Experience mentoring or guiding technical teams within Agile or hybrid delivery environments.Strong understanding of platform governance, data models, performance optimization, and secure development practices.Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification with current Delta certifications required.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred.Additional ServiceNow certifications such as CIS or CAD preferred.ITIL certification preferred.Experience within healthcare or other highly regulated environments preferred.Experience with enterprise integration frameworks, automation initiatives, PeopleSoft, SailPoint, or Epic preferred.
