Service Now Engineer

Servicenow Enhancements Project Lead Develop requirements for future ServiceNow enhancements working with stakeholders in the business and IT. Act as a project lead on new module implementations. Advise on process decisions. Perform configuration and light development work. Create standards and policies to be used for CMDB.

Provide operational support for all environments within your technical group as well as escalation support for junior engineers. Proactively measure all environments within your technical group for adherence to enterprise standards and best practices and assist with remediation & optimization. Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for technical design, implementation and problem resolution. Provide design guidance and support to business partners to enable optimal usage of selected technologies and solutions. Take action to introduce new technologies through documentation, training, recommendations, or proof of concepts. Develop and maintain scripts, automated processes and documentation for repeatable design patterns, to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time. Participate in the management of technical programs and projects through all phases of execution.

Qualifications Minimum of 3 years' experience with Asset Management. Minimum of 3+year experience with ServiceNow Discovery (will be a plus) Have strong functional knowledge and technical skills. Experience integrating with tools to federate data into the CMDB, Asset management Expert in IT Asset Management Lifecycle processes (including hardware and software) Good interpersonal skills, including collaboration, communication, relationship building, and negotiation Expert in IT Asset Management process & operational delivery Familiarity with the following concepts: XML, JSON/script language, database.
