Position : ITSM - ServiceNow Checkpoint Integration SpecialistExperience Required : 6- 8 YearsWork Location : RemoteRole Overview : We are seeking an experienced ITSM professional with strong expertise in ServiceNow integrations, specifically involving Check Point security systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining seamless integrations between ServiceNow Incident Management and Check Point platforms to automate incident workflows and enhance operational efficiency.The candidate should possess hands-on experience in API development, ITSM automation, and enterprise integration architecture, along with strong troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills.Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and implement integrations between the ServiceNow Incident Management module and Check Point security systems.- Automate incident lifecycle processes including : 1. Incident creation2. Incident updates3.

Incident closure based on events triggered from integrated systems.- Build and maintain bi-directional data synchronization between ServiceNow and external security platforms to ensure data consistency and operational accuracy.- Develop and implement custom REST/SOAP APIs for secure, scalable, and reliable communication between systems.- Configure event-driven workflows, notifications, and orchestration processes within ServiceNow.- Monitor integration performance and troubleshoot issues related to APIs, workflows, and data exchange.- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and IT operations teams to gather requirements and implement integration solutions.- Ensure compliance with security standards, governance policies, and ITSM best practices.- Prepare technical documentation including integration design documents, workflow diagrams, API specifications, and operational runbooks.- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.Mandatory Skills : - 6- 8 years of experience in ITSM and ServiceNow development/integration.- Strong hands-on experience with : a. ServiceNow Incident Managementb. IntegrationHubc. REST APIsd.

SOAP APIse. Web Services- Experience integrating ServiceNow with Check Point or other security/firewall platforms.- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and ITSM frameworks.- Experience in automation of incident workflows and event management.- Knowledge of scripting languages such as : a. JavaScriptb. Glide scriptingc.

JSON/XML handling- Experience with authentication and security protocols : a. OAuthb. Basic Authenticationc. SSL/TLS- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.Preferred Skills : - ServiceNow CSA/CAD certification preferred.- Exposure to Security Operations (SecOps) modules is an added advantage.- Experience with enterprise integration tools and middleware platforms.- Familiarity with cloud environments and hybrid infrastructure setups (ref: hirist.tech)
