Summary Of The Job
The Sr. IT Asset Manager leads the IT Asset Management program at FNBO. This senior individual contributor role owns the ITAM roadmap and administers the program using ServiceNow SAM Pro and HAM, with focus on data quality, lifecycle governance, compliance, and executive engagement. You'll blend forward-thinking vision with hands-on ServiceNow expertise to transform ITAM from operational management into measurable business value. FNBO's ITAM program is positioned for growth, and this position requires a proven ITAM practitioner who can help advance the program along the maturity model while ensuring continuous compliance with banking regulatory requirements.
About This Role
Key Responsibilities
Own and execute the IT Asset Management roadmap aligned to a ServiceNow-centric ITAM maturity model, advancing capabilities across foundational accuracy, operational governance, optimization, and reportingEstablish and maintain robust inventory management practices for all technology assets, tracking ownership and allocation from procurement through retirementConfigure and enhance ServiceNow SAM Pro and standard HAM through technical configurations (citizen development) for ITAM and CMDB use cases, optimizing workflows to improve efficiency, user experience, and automation opportunitiesProactively identify and resolve license compliance gaps across all software products, ensuring continuous alignment with vendor entitlements and contractual obligationsImprove asset data quality and establish data hygiene standards to ensure accuracy and reliability of asset informationPartner with CMDB, platform, Finance, Legal, Sourcing, and Risk teams to ensure ITAM data supports operational, financial, and risk reporting needs while supporting audits, renewals, and optimization effortsMeet regularly with IT hardware asset class owners to review lifecycle performance, risks, and roadmap initiatives, ensuring comprehensive visibility and accountabilityEnsure ITAM program maintains continuous compliance with banking regulatory requirements, audit readiness, and risk management standardsAnalyze vendor agreements to ensure full understanding and compliance with entitlements, warranties, maintenance, support terms, and contractual obligations, and navigate vendor audits by coordinating requirements, developing audit responses, creating corrective action plans, and participating in settlement negotiationsDesign, implement, and produce comprehensive ITAM reporting, metrics, and dashboards that provide actionable intelligence on a monthly and quarterly basis for managers and senior leadershipDeliver quarterly ITAM updates to CIO, CTO, and CISO, presenting program status, risks, trends, opportunities, and recommendationsServe as a trusted ITAM subject matter expert across the organization
Required Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate for This Role:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Business Administration, OR seven years of equivalent professional experience5+ years of hands-on experience in IT Asset Management with proven experience maturing or scaling an ITAM program from foundational phases through higher maturity levelsHands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro (Software Asset Management Professional) and standard HAM (Hardware Asset Management) modules; experience with ServiceNow HAM Pro is highly desiredStrong understanding of hardware and software asset lifecyclesExperience working in banking or highly regulated environments with understanding of ITAM regulatory requirements specific to banking and financial servicesProfessional experience interpreting technology contracts and software licensing modelsStrong data analytics capabilities including reporting, metrics development, and dashboard creation with demonstrated ability to drive program maturity through roadmap development and executionExecutive presentation skills with experience presenting to C-level audiences and senior leadership, and ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear insights for non-technical stakeholdersEffective communication and collaboration skills across all organizational levels with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities focused on data-driven decision making

Compensation
Compensation range (base pay): $81,662.00-$134,741.00
This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.
Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
Work Environment
It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week. As part of our team, you'll experience the energy and relationship-building of face-to-face collaboration while still enjoying the flexibility of remote workdays. We provide the tools and technology to ensure seamless transitions between work environments, supporting your productivity wherever you are. Please note that work location is subject to change based on business needs.
