Lead Technical Engineer (ServiceNow) - CPGJP00001921
Duration - 6 Months (Contract to hire)
Location - Charlotte, NC - Locals Preferred / Remote an option for Strong Candidates
Max Pay Rate - $70/hr W2 (No Benefits)
The Tech Lead will tightly partner with the Product Manager of the pod to collectively enable successful product delivery - alignment of technical execution to achieve business goals and outcomes o Owns technical delivery and quality
Anchors the technical integrity of the product, guiding engineering decisions and feasibilityDetermines HOW the product will be built efficiently, securely and scalablyLeads architectural decisions, code quality and engineering best practicesArchitectural decisions should be made based on standards and guidance provided by Data Solutions Architect(s)Supports technical team growth, removes, technical blockers, and ensures engineering velocity

Day-to-day technical execution with team/podTeam Guidance in Breaking Down the WorkSupport in translating high-level requirement into technical tasks and storiesAssess complexity effortCollaborates with engineers and technical resources other teamsIncludes Entire Vendor Domain:Back-end Infrastructure/MDM/Data Pipelines/etcService Now Internal/External requirementsDev-Ops requirementsCross-functional Requirements (S4/Adams/SSO/etc)Oversees Spike workOversees proper technical documentation in ConfluenceDefine and enforce technical standards, best practices, arch guidelinesDesign and define Vendor Enterprise Architecture (end-to-end) in partnership with the Data Solutions Architect(s)Close partnership with Dev-Ops to ensure work is scoped and meets requirementsWill also pick-up work/stories/tasks (50% of time hands-on-keyboard)Scalability, Security, and Performance - Technical RoadmapMitigating technical debtIdentify and mitigate technical risks or bottlenecks in developmentDefect Triaging and troubleshoot critical issues and guide resolutionPerform code reviews, UAT Testing Plans, ensure robust testingDrive continuous integration best practicesSupport team growth and supportIdentify and surface gaps in resources (expertise and quantity)
Service Now Developer (Service Now Implementation)
Develop and customize ServiceNow applications using Service Now primary scripts
Create and configure workflows, UI Policies, business rules, client scripts, and scheduled jobs
Design and implement forms and request fulfillment workflows
Develop custom portals and UI/UX components
Integration &; API Development
Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applicationsDevelop and maintain custom integrationsWork with cross-functional technical stakeholders on integration requirements
Identity Access Management/RBAC Management
Testing and Deployment
Administration; Maintenance - security configurations, and user administration
Maintenance - Platform upgrade and other instance management
Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues
