Job Summary
We are seeking a ServiceNow Demand Manager to lead the intake, prioritisation, and alignment of demand across a large-scale ServiceNow platform operating within a structured Center of Excellence (CoE) environment.
This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end demand pipeline, ensuring that business requests are clearly defined, prioritised, and aligned with platform capabilities and delivery capacity. The successful candidate will bring strong ServiceNow platform understanding, enabling them to validate requirements, guide demand shaping, and ensure effective flow of work into delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage the ServiceNow demand pipeline, including:Demand intake and loggingInitial assessment and categorisationPrioritisation and backlog alignmentWork with business stakeholders to:Capture and shape incoming requestsEnsure clarity of scope, value, and expected outcomesChallenge and refine requests where requiredEnsure demand is:Aligned to ServiceNow platform capabilitiesStructured for efficient deliveryPrioritised based on business value and capacityCollaborate closely with:Service Delivery Manager → align demand with delivery capacityStrategy Advisor / Architect → ensure demand aligns with platform direction and design standardsBusiness Analysts → support detailed requirement definitionDrive demand governance processes, including:Demand review forumsBacklog prioritisation cyclesDecision tracking and communicationMonitor and manage:Backlog health and pipeline flowDemand ageing and prioritisation conflictsAlignment between demand, capacity, and delivery timelinesProvide visibility and reporting on:Demand pipeline statusPrioritised backlogDelivery alignment and progressSupport continuous improvement of demand management, including:Standardisation of intake processesImproved demand qualification and filteringOptimisation of backlog and prioritisation practices
Required Experience & Skills:
6–10+ years of experience in demand management, service delivery, or similar roles, with strong exposure to ServiceNow platformsStrong understanding of ServiceNow capabilities and modules, such as:ITSMITOM / CMDBHRSD / enterprise servicesCSMProven experience managing:Demand intake and prioritisation processesBacklog-driven delivery modelsStakeholder request pipelinesAbility to:Challenge and refine business requestsAlign demand with platform capability and delivery constraintsBalance competing priorities across stakeholdersStrong understanding of:Service delivery models and governanceBacklog management and prioritisation frameworksWorkflow-driven service environmentsExcellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to:Communicate clearly across technical and business audiencesManage expectations and resolve prioritisation conflicts
Preferred / Additional Experience:
Experience working within:A ServiceNow Center of Excellence (CoE)Large-scale or multi-module ServiceNow platformsExposure to:Agile or hybrid delivery modelsServiceNow demand or portfolio management capabilitiesCertifications:CSA preferredAgile / Scrum or equivalent is a plus
