QA Analyst ServiceNow Testing

QA Analyst ServiceNow Testing Contract: 6 months

Location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid) MUST BE LOCAL TO AUSTIN AREA FOR CONSIDERATION

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst to support manual testing efforts within enterprise ServiceNow environments. This role will focus on ensuring high-quality software delivery by executing test cases, validating functionality, and supporting Agile development teams in a structured QA environment. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with ServiceNow testing, and familiarity with enterprise SDLC and QA processes.

Qualifications

4+ years of manual testing experience in ServiceNowStrong experience in test case creation and execution within a formal QA frameworkSolid understanding of Agile/Scrum SDLC processesStrong analytical, documentation, and communication skillsWorking knowledge of API and integration testingProficiency using Jira for defect tracking and Agile work managementExperience supporting Texas state agency systems preferredFamiliarity with enterprise QA standards and SDLC processes

Preferred Qualifications

Experience testing ServiceNow SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) moduleExperience testing additional ServiceNow modules (ITSM, CMDB, HRSD)Experience with general government compliance, audits, or release readiness processesUAT coordination experience in government or regulated environments

Duties

Perform manual testing of ServiceNow applications to validate functionality and business requirementsCreate, document, and execute detailed test cases and test scriptsIdentify, document, and track defects using JiraPerform API and integration testing where applicableParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support sprint testing activitiesValidate system changes against acceptance criteria and business requirementsSupport UAT coordination and end-user testing activitiesEnsure adherence to enterprise QA standards, SDLC processes, and release guidelinesCollaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery
